Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh

The Persian Valiant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high fat content to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh rugs, made from such wool dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Gabbeh, created in a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, are warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing heat buildup.
