Gabbeh are long-pile rugs, rooted in the daily lives of the Qashqai nomads who hand-weave them in the Zagros Mountains of Iran using naturally dyed wool. The Persian Variat wool used in this product is known for its excellent durability, allowing sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and for its soft, pleasant feel due to its high oil content, which helps with temperature regulation.

For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
