Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically inhabit the Zagros Mountains of Iran. They are dyed with natural plant dyes and deeply rooted in daily life. The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft and pleasant texture, rich in natural oils, allows for effective temperature regulation.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth firmly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Points to Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing irregularities. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the dyes used on the wool may be present.
This scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping
The pompoms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pompoms will not adversely affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
