Gabbeh are long-piled rugs woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil to regulate body temperature, making it soft and pleasant to the touch. Daily Care

Remove dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile. For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
