Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, hand-knotted rugs made from vegetable-dyed wool by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, deeply rooted in their daily life. Daily Care

Remove dust and debris by vacuuming or sweeping along the pile.
For dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, then air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
