Gabbeh rugs are long-pile carpets deeply rooted in the daily lives of the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in Iran's Zagros Mountains. They are hand-woven using wool dyed with natural dyes. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, sweeping along the nap.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, then air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
