Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai nomads who hand-weave them in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and is rich in natural oils, making it soft and pleasant to the touch for effective thermoregulation.
Gabbeh rugs, hand-woven meticulously by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are so durable that they are said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with significant daily temperature fluctuations, Gabbeh also has the characteristic of being warm in winter and breathable in summer, preventing a feeling of heat.
And, above all, there is its artistic quality. Gabbeh created from the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being an original and unique item.
They can be laid on the floor or even hung on a wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh that you can cherish for a long time?

Important Notes
Due to the handmade nature, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dye inconsistencies. Please consider these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used to color the wool may be present.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
