Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, once mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, which is how it got its name "turquoise." Persian turquoise is a high-quality, hard stone with a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often described as "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humanity as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the finest quality source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places, with varying qualities. While American Arizona turquoise is commonly brought to Japan, this Persian "Firuze" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to the drastic decrease in production in recent years, making it very valuable.
Enjoy the unique, vivid, and gentle sky-blue color of natural Persian turquoise, known as "the color of spring skies," which beautifully complements various skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry clean each time before storing it to prevent the accumulation of everyday dirt.
Please remove the jewelry before bathing.
Important Notes
As natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing the jewelry. While Iranian natural turquoise is known for its high hardness and resistance to discoloration, the color of the stone may occasionally change.
