Features of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, which is the origin of its name, meaning "Turkish." Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, boasting a vivid, deep sky blue color often called "the color of spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humanity as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished by the royal family for many years, and during the Victorian era, this Persian blue was highly prized.
While Iran is the best source for turquoise, stones of varying quality are also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other regions. Although a significant amount of turquoise from Arizona, USA, is imported into Japan, natural Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing output and rarity in recent years.
Enjoy the distinct, vibrant, gentle sky blue of natural Persian turquoise, often called "the color of spring sky," which blends beautifully with skin tones – the true Persian blue.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry clean each time before storing it to prevent daily dirt from accumulating.
Please remove it before bathing.
Important Notes
As natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing the jewelry. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and resistant to discoloration, there are rare instances where the stone's color may change.
