Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), traveled to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a high-quality, hard stone with a vibrant, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone used by humankind as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoises from Arizona, America, are brought to Japan, but this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced because its production has drastically decreased in recent years, making it precious.
Enjoy the vibrant and gentle sky blue, the Persian blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, which is said to be "the color of spring sky" and blends well with skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the item clean each time before storing it to prevent daily dirt from accumulating.
Please remove it before taking a bath.
Notes
