This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our shop by the famous Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of the Pahlavi King. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our shop from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance its allure. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold to match its unique shape.

Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuzeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by its vivid, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of a spring sky," and its high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humankind as a protective amulet.

In Persia, this stone was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are imported into Japan, but natural Persian "Firuzeh" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its drastic decrease in production in recent years, making it very valuable.

Daily Care

We recommend wiping it after each use to prevent daily dirt from accumulating before storing it.
