This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, created by the renowned Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of King Pahlavi. While lecturing at the University of Fine Arts in Tehran, he also created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance its charm. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's shape.

Characteristics of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, with a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring skies," and high hardness. In fact, it was also the first stone used by humankind as a protective amulet.

In Persia, this stone was treasured by the royal family for many years, and during the Victorian era, this Persian blue was also highly valued.
While Iran is the best quality source, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and elsewhere. Many American Arizona turquoises are brought to Japan, but this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced because its production has drastically decreased in recent years, making it precious.

Daily Care

We recommend wiping the jewelry each time before storing it to prevent daily dirt from accumulating.

Since natural stones are used, please be careful not to let perfume, sweat, or oily substances come into direct contact with the jewelry when wearing it. Although natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and resistant to discoloration, there are rare cases where the stone's color may change.
