Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was transported to Europe via Turkey, which is how the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is renowned for its vibrant, deep sky blue color, often referred to as "the color of spring skies," and is of the highest quality with superior hardness. In fact, it was one of the first stones ever used by humanity as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this "Persian Blue" was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying qualities is also found in Australia, America, China, and Egypt. While American Arizona turquoise is commonly imported into Japan, Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" has become increasingly rare due to a significant decrease in recent output, thus it is not widely available.
Enjoy the vivid yet gentle sky blue, the unique Persian Blue, of natural Persian turquoise, often called "the color of spring skies," which beautifully complements any skin tone.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry clean each time after use before storing it to prevent daily dirt accumulation.
Please remove the jewelry before bathing.
Notes
Since natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing the jewelry. While natural Iranian turquoise is known for its high hardness and resistance to discoloration, the stone's color may rarely change.
