This is a one-of-a-kind original design by the famous Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri, exclusively for our store. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. His delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance its charm. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved in gold to match the stone's shape.

Characteristics of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, known for its hardness and vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many American Arizona turquoises are brought into Japan, but this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced because its production has drastically decreased in recent years, making it very rare.
