This is a one-of-a-kind, original design from our store by the famous Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the stone's appeal. The back of each turquoise is engraved with gold to match the shape of the stone.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by its vivid, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of spring skies," and its high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as an amulet to ward off evil.

In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought into Japan, but this Persian "firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to the drastic decrease in production in recent years, making it very valuable.
