This is an original, one-of-a-kind design by the famous Iranian goldsmith, Mr. Javaheri, exclusively for our store. Leather Javaheri was a goldsmith who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Fine Arts, he created our store's jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance their allure. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved in gold to match the stone's shape.

Features of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, originally mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, which is why the word "turquoise" is derived from the word "Turkish." Persian turquoise is a high-quality, hard stone with a vivid, deep sky blue color often referred to as "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it has long been cherished as the stone of the royal family, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, etc., with varying qualities. While many American Arizona turquoises are brought into Japan, this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing output in recent years, making it very precious.
