This is an original design from our store, a one-of-a-kind piece by the renowned Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While also teaching at Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance its charm. The back of each turquoise stone is individually hand-engraved in gold to match its shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by its hardness and vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often described as "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was the first stone used by humankind as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as the royal family's stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the finest source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other locations. While much American Arizona turquoise is brought into Japan, Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to the drastic decrease in its output in recent years, making it very precious.
