This is a one-of-a-kind original design by our store, created by the famous Iranian engraver Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Javaheri was an engraver who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the University of Tehran's Faculty of Fine Arts, he produced jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the allure of the stone. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved with gold to match the stone's shape.

The stone, originally mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was transported to Europe via Turkey, which is why the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is known for its vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of the spring sky," and is a high-quality stone with excellent hardness. In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places, with varying qualities. While much of the turquoise imported to Japan comes from Arizona in the US, this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its decreasing production and rarity in recent years.
