This is a one-of-a-kind original design by our shop, crafted by the famous Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of the Pahlavi Shah. While lecturing at the University of Tehran's Faculty of Fine Arts, he created our jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance their allure. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved in gold, matching the shape of the stone.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, known for its high hardness and vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was one of the first stones used by humans as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While much American Arizona turquoise is brought into Japan, this Persian "firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its significantly decreased production in recent years, making it precious.
