This is a one-of-a-kind original design by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of the Pahlavi Shah. While lecturing at the University of Tehran Art, he created our jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance its charm. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's shape.

Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuzeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, once found in Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, with a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of the spring sky," and high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While American Arizona turquoise is often brought to Japan, the Persian "firuzeh" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing output in recent years and its resulting rarity.
