Characteristics of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, giving it the name "turquoise" (meaning "Turkish"). Persian turquoise is known for its vivid, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of a spring sky," and is of the highest quality with remarkable hardness. In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humankind as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was long cherished as the stone of the royal family, and this "Persian blue" was highly prized during the Victorian era. Besides Iran, which is the finest producing region, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While much American Arizona turquoise is brought to Japan, Persian "Firoozeh" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its rarity and drastically reduced output in recent years. Enjoy the vivid, gentle sky-blue, Persian blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, which is said to be "the color of a spring sky" and complements all skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping off any daily grime before storing the jewelry. Please remove it before bathing.
Note
Since natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oil-based substances when wearing them. Natural Iranian turquoise is known for its high hardness and resistance to discoloration, but in rare cases, the color of the stone may change.
