This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our shop by the famous Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi King era. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our shop from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the individuality of each turquoise, further enhance the charm of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved with gold to match the stone's shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by a vivid, deep blue sky color, often called "the color of the spring sky," and high hardness. In fact, this was the first stone used by humans as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, etc. Many American Arizona turquoises are imported into Japan, but this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its dwindling production and rarity in recent years.
