Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically inhabit the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool with a long pile that is deeply rooted in their daily lives. The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product has excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture rich in oil to effectively regulate body temperature.
These Gabbeh, woven meticulously by hand, one thread at a time, by Iranian nomads using natural dyes, are characterized by their fluffy and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from the drastic temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing heat.
And above all, there's their artistry. Gabbeh created from the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with water to remove detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.
