Daily Care

Remove dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile. For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.

Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing unevenness. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven products. Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a distinctive odor from the dyes used on the wool. The odor will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
