It will brighten up your entryway, which you pass through every day.
In addition to entryways, its size makes it easy to lay in empty spaces like by the bedside or in front of a single sofa.
It is soft, plush, and features a pleasant texture that can be used all year round.
As each piece is hand-woven, enjoy a unique design found nowhere else in the world.
This particular Gabbeh is woven with fine threads. Because it requires more effort to weave, it is a "Lizebaft Gabbeh," which is thinner and more tightly woven than regular Gabbehs.
"Lize" means "fine" in Persian, and "baft" means "weave."

Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, hand-woven carpets made by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and is soft to the touch with a high fat content for effective body temperature regulation.
The Gabbeh, woven piece by piece by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, is characterized by its plush and comfortable feel.
A well-woven Gabbeh is highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbehs are warm in winter and well-ventilated, not feeling hot, in summer.
And, of course, there's its artistic quality. Gabbehs, created from the nomads' imaginations, often feature animal and plant designs, making each one a unique, original piece.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed as art on a wall.
Why not find a special Gabbeh that's all your own, one that you can use for a long time?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, sweeping along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Afterwards, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-woven products.
Additionally, Gabbehs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Tassels can be removed before shipping.

If requested, the tassels located at the corners and in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before delivery.
Removing the tassels will not adversely affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you wish to have the tassels removed before shipping, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
