Gabbeh rugs are deeply rooted in the daily lives of the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. These rugs are hand-woven from plant-dyed wool with a long pile. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with water to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
