Characteristics of Persian Handwoven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled rugs woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool deeply rooted in their daily lives. The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant feel with a high oil content to effectively regulate body temperature.
These Gabbeh rugs, woven meticulously by hand, strand by strand, by Iranian nomads using naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with drastic temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and breathable in summer, preventing feelings of heat.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile direction.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel or similar. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with water to remove detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
Due to being handwoven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of handwoven products.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dye may be present.
This scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
