Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh Gabbeh are long-piled rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains and is soft and pleasant to the touch, containing a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively. Gabbeh, hand-woven piece by piece by Iranian nomads using this wool dyed with natural dyes, is characterized by its fluffy and pleasant texture. A tightly woven Gabbeh is said to last 100 years, boasting excellent durability. Daily Care Use a vacuum cleaner or broom to remove dirt and dust along the nap. For stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface.
