Most of these artistic rugs bear the signature of the workshop.
What is a Persian rug?
A Persian rug is a rug woven in Iran. It has a long history and is known for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the most excellent artistic handicrafts representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in rug design and materials used by region, Iran has a wide variety of rugs. These range from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometrically patterned tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate colors of Persian rugs possess a unique charm. By incorporating a Persian rug with its own unique charm into your room, you can further enhance its atmosphere.
Daily Care (Silk)
Vacuum the dust off the surface along the pile. If you spill liquids, first absorb the moisture with an absorbent material (such as paper towels or tissues). Then, place a dry towel on the underside of the rug and dab it with a wrung-out towel dampened with water and neutral detergent. Finally, remove as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material and dry it in a well-ventilated area.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight distortions in shape, weaving irregularities, or dye variations. Please enjoy these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
