This is a hand-knotted silk Persian rug made in Iran (Persia).
This hand-knotted Persian rug is the perfect size for an entrance mat and will add character to any room. Besides entrances, it is also suitable for various other spaces such as bedside areas or in front of single sofas. Its rich colors and designs will add vibrancy to your room.
Toranj (Medallion) Pattern
The most distinctive feature of the popular and traditional Toranj pattern is a circular or oval design placed in the center of the rug. Symmetrical patterns and decorations spread around it, creating a beautiful design. Toranj pattern rugs suit any room, and we especially recommend placing them in front of a sofa in the living room or in the center of a room.
Enjoy a comfortable lifestyle with a hand-knotted, one-of-a-kind Persian rug with a unique design.

Characteristics of the Region (Qom)
Qom is a region famous for silk rugs, to the extent that it's synonymous with silk rugs. It produces the finest rugs in Iran and is located in the northern part of the country. These rugs use silk and very high-quality soft wool. The designs are also very rich. Various colors are skillfully used, with pastel colors, soft colors, and ivory being particularly common. Most rugs from this region are artistic-level pieces with the workshop's signature.
What is a Persian Rug?
A Persian rug is a rug woven in Iran. It has a long history and is renowned for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the most outstanding art crafts representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in rug designs and materials used depending on the region of origin, Iran has a wide variety of rugs. These range from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometric tribal rugs woven by Iranian nomadic tribes. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs have an unparalleled charm. By incorporating a Persian rug with its unique, one-of-a-kind charm into your room, you can further enhance its atmosphere.
Daily Care (Silk)
Vacuum the surface to remove dust along the pile. If you spill liquids, first absorb the moisture with an absorbent material (such as kitchen paper or tissue). Then, place a dry towel on the back of the rug, and using water and neutral detergent, dab the stain with a tightly wrung towel. Finally, remove as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material and hang the rug in a well-ventilated area to dry.
Important Notes
As these rugs are hand-knotted, there may be variations in shape, weaving irregularities, and dye variations. Please enjoy these as part of the unique charm of a hand-knotted rug.
