The animals depicted in the rug create a lively atmosphere, leaving a deep impression on viewers.
Gol (Floral) Pattern
The Gol pattern is a common design found in Persian rugs. It is used in various production areas such as Kerman, Isfahan, Kashan, Na'in, and Qom. Various types of flowers are depicted, with roses and the traditional Persian design known as Shah Abbasi flowers being common. It uses silk and very high-quality soft wool. The designs are very rich. Various colors are used very skillfully, with pastel colors, soft colors, and ivory being particularly common. Most rugs from this region are works of art with the workshop's signature.
What is a Persian Rug?
A Persian rug is a rug woven in Iran. It has a long history and is famous for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the most outstanding examples of art and craft representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in rug designs and materials used depending on the production area, Iran offers a wide variety of rugs. These range from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometric tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs possess a unique charm. By incorporating a Persian rug with its unique charm, one of a kind in the world, into your room, you can further enhance its atmosphere.
Daily Care (Silk)
Vacuum up any dust on the surface along the direction of the pile. If you spill liquids, first absorb as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material (such as paper towels or tissues). Then, place a dry towel on the back of the rug, and using water and a neutral detergent, pat the stain with a tightly wrung towel. Finally, remove as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material and hang the rug in a well-ventilated area to dry.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight distortions in shape, weaving irregularities, or color variations. Please enjoy these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
