This is a hand-woven wool Persian rug made in Iran (Persia).
This hand-woven Persian rug is perfect for single-person living spaces or as an accent rug. At approximately 1 tatami mat in size, it is also recommended as a bedside rug. It's also ideal in front of a single-seater sofa or a compact sofa.
*Because this rug is hand-woven, there may be slight undulations. This does not affect its durability, but please be aware of this beforehand. Please refer to the last two images in the image gallery for details on the undulations.
Toranj (medallion) Pattern
The main feature of the popular and traditional Toranj pattern is a circular or oval design placed in the center of the rug. Symmetrical patterns and decorations spread around it, creating a beautiful design. Toranj pattern rugs suit any room, and are particularly recommended for placement in front of a living room sofa or in the center of a room.
Enjoy a comfortable life with a unique, one-of-a-kind hand-woven Persian rug.

Characteristics of the Region (Nain)
Nain is a city located in central Iran, near Isfahan. Nain rugs are very popular and resemble Isfahan designs. Cotton is used for the foundation, and wool or silk are often used for the pile. Medallions and Shah Abbasi floral patterns are frequently seen in the designs. Ivory and beige are used for the field color, often accented with colors such as red, green, blue, and pink. The Habibian workshop is particularly famous, known for its high-quality rugs.
What is a Persian Rug?
A Persian rug is a rug woven in Iran. It has a long history and is famous for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the most excellent artistic handicrafts representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in rug designs and materials used depending on the region, there is a wide variety of rugs in Iran. From delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometric tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups, the range is diverse. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs possess an unparalleled charm. By incorporating a unique Persian rug with its own charm into your room, you can enhance its atmosphere even further.
Daily Care (Wool)
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile. If stains are a concern: dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight distortions in shape, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please enjoy these as part of the unique character of a hand-woven item.
