This is a hand-woven wool Persian rug made in Iran (Persia).
This hand-woven Persian rug is perfect for a single person's room or as an accent rug. It's also recommended as a bedside rug, approximately 1 tatami mat in size. It's also perfect in front of a single-seater sofa or a compact sofa.
Tranj (Medallion) Pattern
The most distinctive feature of the popular and traditional Tranj pattern is the circular or oval design placed in the center of the rug. Symmetrical patterns and decorations spread around it, creating a beautiful design. Tranj patterned rugs match any room, and are especially recommended for placement in front of a living room sofa or in the center of a room.
Enjoy a comfortable lifestyle with a one-of-a-kind, hand-woven Persian rug, with a design found nowhere else in the world.

Characteristics of the Region (Sarouk)
Sarouk is a city located in north-central Iran. Rugs produced in this region are very popular, similar to Bijar rugs. They offer a rich variety of designs, and gained popularity in European markets around the 19th century, leading to increased overseas demand. As a result, in addition to the traditional Sarouk characteristics, there are now more colors and designs tailored for overseas markets. While rugs come in various colors, the field colors are primarily beige, red, and blue. The pile of the rugs is made of wool, dyed with natural dyes, so the colors change beautifully over time. There are various designs, including floral patterns, all-over patterns, and medallion patterns.
What is a Persian Rug?
A Persian rug is a rug woven in Iran. It has a long history and is famous for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the finest examples of art and craft representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in design and materials used depending on the region of origin, Iran has a wide variety of rugs. They range from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometrically patterned tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs possess a unique charm unmatched elsewhere. By incorporating a Persian rug with its own unique charm, a one-of-a-kind piece, into your room, you can further enhance its atmosphere.
Daily Care (Wool)
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the nap of the rug. If you are concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, thoroughly wipe with water to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please enjoy these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
