Features of Persian hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, everyday rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads of the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high oil content for effective body temperature regulation.
These Gabbeh, made from wool dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, making them feel cool.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool and silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shade.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please consider these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used on the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can also be removed before shipping
If requested, the pompoms located at the corners and in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before delivery.
Removing the pompoms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
