This particular Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and because it takes more effort to weave, it is a "Liezbaft Gabbeh" which is thinner than regular Gabbeh and has a tighter weave.

Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs woven by the Qashqai tribe, nomadic people in Iran's Zagros Mountains, using vegetable-dyed wool, deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant-to-the-touch texture contains a lot of oil to effectively regulate body temperature.
These Gabbeh, hand-woven knot by knot by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique smell from the dye used for the wool.
This smell will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping
The pompoms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipment.
Removing the pompoms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
