This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, making it a "Lizebaft Gabbeh" which is thinner than regular Gabbeh rugs and has a tighter weave, reflecting the extra effort required to weave it.

Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh Rugs
Gabbeh rugs are hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. They are deeply rooted in their daily lives, made from plant-dyed wool with a long pile. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high oil content to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh rugs, made by carefully hand-weaving this wool dyed with natural dyes, are characterized by their plush and pleasant feel.
A well-woven Gabbeh is said to last 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh rugs are warm in winter and breathable in summer, offering a cool sensation.
And above all, there's their artistry. Gabbeh rugs, created from the nomads' imaginations, often feature animal and plant designs, with each one being a unique, original piece.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed on a wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, a rug you can cherish for a lifetime?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping in the direction of the pile.
For noticeable stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving variations, and dye variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. As such, there may be a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
