This is a set of two hand-woven Gabbeh chair pads from Iran.
Our interior designer personally selected two Gabbeh rugs from our large collection of unique items that have a similar aesthetic to create this set.
They can be used on dining chairs, car seats, or as floor cushions.
They are also recommended as an accent piece on a sofa or in various other places.
We have paired them with colors and patterns that are easy to match with different rooms.
They are soft, plush, and have a pleasant feel that can be used all year round.
Enjoy a unique, hand-woven design that is one of a kind.

Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh Rugs
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, hand-woven carpets made by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, developed for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and is soft and pleasant to the touch due to its high fat content, which helps regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh rugs, hand-woven piece by piece by Iranian nomads using natural dyes on this wool, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Gabbeh rugs, born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, are also warm in winter and airy in summer, making them feel cool.
And above all, there is their artistry. Gabbeh rugs created by the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, original item.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed on a wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh rug that you can cherish for a lifetime?
Daily Care
Vacuum or sweep along the nap to remove dirt and dust.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
As these are hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the wool dyes may be present.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping
If you request, the pompoms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before delivery.
Removing the pompoms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you wish for the pompoms to be removed before shipping, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
