Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs woven by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool, and are deeply rooted in their daily lives. The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains and is rich in natural oils, making it soft and pleasant to the touch, and adept at regulating body temperature.
These Gabbeh are hand-woven by Iranian nomads, one thread at a time, using wool dyed with natural dyes, resulting in a plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are renowned for their durability, said to last for 100 years.
Gabbeh, born from areas with extreme temperature differences between day and night, are also known for being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
And, above all, their artistry. Gabbeh, created from the nomads' imagination, often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed on a wall as art.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel firmly, and gently wipe the surface. Afterward, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, then air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please consider these as part of the unique charm of hand-woven products.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a distinctive odor from the wool dye may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
