This is a set of two hand-woven Gabbeh chair pads from Iran.
Our interior designer personally selected these two items from our extensive collection of unique Gabbeh rugs, choosing those with a similar aesthetic.
They can be used on dining chairs, car seats, or as floor cushions.
They are also recommended as interior accents, placed on sofas or in various other spots.
We have paired them considering patterns and colors that would be easy to match with different room styles.
They are soft, plush, and offer a pleasant feel that can be enjoyed all year round.
As each is a unique hand-woven item, please enjoy a one-of-a-kind design.

Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in daily life, hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads of the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and is rich in natural oils, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture that helps regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh rugs are hand-woven strand by strand by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, giving them a thick, fluffy, and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from the climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh rugs also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
And, above all, their artistry is remarkable. Gabbeh rugs created from the nomads' imaginations often feature animal and plant designs, making each one-of-a-kind and original.
They can be laid on the floor or even hung on walls as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, a rug you can enjoy for a lifetime?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Afterwards, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, then air dry in a well-ventilated shade.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape or pattern, weaving unevenness, and dye variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a distinctive odor from the wool dye may occur.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can be removed upon request
The pom-poms attached to the corners and sides of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipping.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you wish for the pom-poms to be removed before shipping, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
