This is a set of two hand-woven Iranian Gabbeh chair pads.
Our interior designer personally selected these two items from a large collection of unique Gabbeh rugs, choosing pieces with similar aesthetics.
They can be used on dining chairs, car seats, or as floor cushions.
They are also recommended as interior accents, placed on sofas or in various other spots.
We have paired them with colors and patterns that are easy to match with different rooms.

Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, grass-dyed wool carpets hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads who live in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, deeply rooted in their daily life. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product is known for its excellent durability, allowing sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant feel due to its high lanolin content, which helps with body temperature regulation.
The Gabbeh rugs, made from this wool dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, thread by thread, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are said to last for 100 years, boasting superior durability.
Born from a climate with extreme daily temperature differences, Gabbeh rugs are warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing feelings of heat.
And above all, there is their artistic quality. Gabbeh rugs created from the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor or even hung on a wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, a piece you can cherish for a lifetime?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth firmly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and uneven dyeing. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used on the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually fade with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping

The pompoms on the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pompoms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
