Gabbeh rugs are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in daily life, hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads who graze their flocks in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using wool dyed with natural plant dyes. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung-out towel or similar. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
