Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh

The Persian variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture rich in oils that allow for efficient thermoregulation.
Gabbeh, made by meticulously hand-weaving each strand of this wool, dyed with natural dyes, by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their plush and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting superior durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, making them feel cool.
And above all, there is their artistic quality. Gabbeh created from the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
