This is a common size for Japanese entrance mats. It brightens up your entrance, which you pass through every day. In addition to the entrance, it's also an easy size to lay in empty spaces such as in front of a washbasin or balcony, or by the bedside. This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-baf Gabbeh that is thinner and has a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh. "Luri" means "fine" and "baf" means "weave" in Persian.
