This Persian hand-woven Gabbeh rug is sized for entranceways, suitable for slightly larger entrances like those in detached houses.
It will brighten up your entrance, which you pass through every day.
In addition to entrances, its size makes it easy to place in empty spaces such as beside a bed or in front of a single sofa.
It is soft, plush, and features a pleasant texture that can be used all year round.
As a hand-woven one-of-a-kind item, enjoy a design that is unique in the world.
This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and because it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-Baft Gabbeh with less thickness and a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh rugs.
"Luri" means "fine" and "Baft" means "weave" in Persian.

Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai nomads, who weave them by hand in the Zagros Mountains of Iran using naturally dyed wool. The Persian variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high fat content to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh rugs, handcrafted by Iranian nomads with each strand dyed with natural dyes, are characterized by their plush and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh rugs are warm in winter and well-ventilated in summer, preventing feelings of heat.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh rugs created from the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, with no two being alike; each is a unique, original piece.
They can be laid on the floor or even hung on a wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, one that you can cherish forever?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a distinctive odor from the wool dye may occur.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
Pom-poms can be removed upon shipment
The pom-poms on the corners and sides of the Gabbeh can be removed before delivery if requested.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
