This is a hand-woven silk Persian rug made in Iran (Persia).
It's a classic hand-woven Persian rug perfect for placing in front of a living room sofa. Neither too big nor too small, its approximately 1.5 tatami mat size (approx. 270 x 180 cm) makes it easy to match with your room's interior and place under a dining table.
Toranj (medallion) pattern
The main feature of the popular and traditional Toranj pattern is a circular or oval design placed in the center of the rug. Symmetrical patterns and decorations spread around it, creating a beautiful design. Toranj pattern rugs suit any room, and are especially recommended for placing in front of a living room sofa or as a centerpiece in a room.
Gol pattern (flower pattern)
The Gol pattern is a common design in Persian rugs. It is used in various production areas such as Kerman, Isfahan, Kashan, Nain, and Qom. Various types of flowers are depicted, with roses and the traditional Persian Shah Abbasi flower often seen. In the Sarasari pattern, the size of the flowers stands out, and small flowers may be arranged to surround the Toranj pattern. It harmonizes with any room.
Enjoy a comfortable life with a unique, one-of-a-kind hand-woven Persian rug.

What is a Persian rug?
A Persian rug is a rug woven in Iran. It has a long history and is known for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the most excellent art and craft items representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in rug design and materials used across production areas, Iran boasts a wide variety of rugs. There are delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops, as well as simple, geometric tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs possess a unique charm. By incorporating a Persian rug with its own unique charm, one of a kind in the world, into your room, you can further enhance the atmosphere.
Daily care (silk)
Vacuum dust from the surface along the direction of the pile. If you spill drinks, first absorb the moisture with an absorbent material (such as paper towels or tissues). Then, place a dry towel on the back of the rug and use water and a neutral detergent to wipe by dabbing with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Finally, remove as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material and dry it in a well-ventilated area.
Please note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight distortions in shape, weaving irregularities, or dye variations. Please enjoy these as part of the unique charm of a hand-woven item.
