This is a hand-woven Persian silk rug, made in Iran (Persia).
It's a large doormat-sized Persian hand-woven rug suitable for the entrance of a house or other relatively spacious entranceways. This Persian hand-woven rug is also suitable for empty spaces like beside a bed or in front of a single sofa, not just the entryway.
Toranj (medallion) Pattern
The most distinctive feature of the popular and traditional Toranj pattern is a circular or oval design placed in the center of the rug. Symmetrical patterns and decorations spread out around it, creating a beautiful design. Toranj pattern rugs suit any room, and are especially recommended for in front of a living room sofa or as a centerpiece for a room.
Enjoy a comfortable lifestyle with a one-of-a-kind, hand-woven Persian rug with a design found nowhere else in the world.

What is a Persian rug?
A Persian rug is a rug woven in Iran. It has a long history and is famous for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the most outstanding artistic crafts representing Iranian culture and art. Since the design and materials used for rugs differ by region of origin, Iran has a wide variety of rugs. There is everything from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometric tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs possess a unique charm. By incorporating a one-of-a-kind Persian rug with its own unique charm into your room, you can further enhance its atmosphere.
Daily Care (Silk)
Vacuum any dust on the surface along the pile. If you spill drinks or other liquids, first absorb the moisture with an absorbent material (such as paper towels or tissues). Then, place a dry towel under the rug, and using water and a neutral detergent, gently dab with a tightly wrung towel. Finally, remove as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material and hang it in a well-ventilated area to dry.
Important Notes
As these are hand-woven, there may be slight distortions in shape, weaving inconsistencies, or variations in dye. Please enjoy these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
