Gabbeh, woven by Iranian nomads by hand, strand by strand, using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.
A well-woven Gabbeh is said to last 100 years, demonstrating its exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature fluctuations between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
And, above all, their artistry is remarkable. Gabbeh created by nomadic imagination often feature animal and plant designs, and each one is a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can, of course, be laid on the floor, but are also beautiful enough to be displayed as art on a wall.
