This particular Gabbeh is woven with fine threads. Although it takes more effort to weave, it results in a Reezbaf Gabbeh, which is thinner and has a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh rugs.

Features of Persian Hand-Knotted Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are hand-knotted by the Qashqai nomads who roam the Zagros Mountains of Iran. They are deeply integrated into daily life, made from long-pile, vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Varied wool used in this product, developed for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, possesses excellent durability and is rich in natural oils, making it soft and pleasant to the touch, and adept at regulating body temperature.
Gabbeh rugs, handcrafted one by one by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and comfortable texture.
A well-woven Gabbeh is said to last 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from the drastic temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh rugs also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing feelings of heat.
And above all, their artistry is remarkable. Gabbeh rugs created from the nomads' imaginations often feature animal and plant designs, making each one a unique, original piece.
They can be laid on the floor or even hung on a wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, a rug that you can cherish forever?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with water to remove any detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
Due to being hand-knotted, there may be irregularities in shape or pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dye variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of a hand-knotted item.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the wool dye may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
