Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize the Zagros Mountains in Iran. They are hand-woven using plant-dyed wool. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Afterwards, carefully wipe with water to remove the detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, or dyeing irregularities. Please consider these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dye may occur.
